Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) (Joliet, IL)

Location: Joliet, IL

Program or Service: Residential Networks; Network 1 and Network 5

Salary: $28,000/annual starting 

Schedule/Shift: M-F, 8:30-5:00pm with 2 late nights per week.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of plans and strategies for person receiving supports with developmental disabilities and mental illness
  • Maintains, reviews and evaluates pertinent data relative to each individual’s growth and development
  • Guides the team in treatment/support needs to ensure correct implementation of services
  • Provides training to direct care staff as indicated
  • Additional tasks may be assigned based upon the needs of the department

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.  Additional qualifications include: balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, repetitive motion, pushing wheelchairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
