Trinity was founded by a dedicated group of parents in 1950. It was originally a school for children with developmental disabilities.

The 24th Annual Conference of Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDPs), "We Don’t Have To Do What We’ve Always Done," is set for Aug. 6-9 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
