Trinity was founded by a dedicated group of parents in 1950. It was originally a school for children with developmental disabilities.

Trinity has a presence in 35 Illinois communities in Will, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Madison, Peoria, Jackson and St. Clair counties.

Trinity Services is one of the largest social services organizations in Illinois, serving over 6,800 people with disabilities and mental health needs. 

In 2025, Trinity Services received the President's Award from The Council on Quality and Leadership, one of only two organizations to receive this prestigious honor.

Trinity Services Celebrates Juneteenth!

Juneteenth Flag

Trinity Services is celebrating Juneteenth early with special picnics held in New Lenox, Des Plaines, Peoria, Mascoutah, the School and at all CDS and PSR sites.  The picnics will be hosted on June 16, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.  Enjoy music, games, raffles, and food!

In preparation for our celebrations and to learn more about Juneteenth, join virtual sessions each day on Zoom:

  • June 13 - History of Juneteenth  (9:00 am and 12:00 pm)
  • June 14 - Meanings and traditions (9:00 am and 12:00 pm)
  • June 15 - Virtual museum tour (9:00 am and 12:00 pm)
