Trinity was founded by a dedicated group of parents in 1950. It was originally a school for children with developmental disabilities.

Trinity has a presence in 35 Illinois communities in Will, Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Madison, Peoria, Jackson and St. Clair counties.

Trinity Services is one of the largest social services organizations in Illinois, serving over 6,800 people with disabilities and mental health needs. 

In 2025, Trinity Services received the President's Award from The Council on Quality and Leadership, one of only two organizations to receive this prestigious honor.

On August 7, from 9am - 12pm, Trinity Services staff will be at Social Butterfly Coffee, 310 North Ottawa Street, Joliet 60432, to educate on programs and support offered to the community.

Stop by, check out Trinity Services, and treat yourself to a delicious coffee experience from the Social Butterfly Coffee menu!

Social Butterfly Coffee is Joliet’s newest specialty coffee shop—serving homemade organic syrups, a seasonal handcrafted menu, and a third-space vibe built around culture, music, art, and really good coffee. Follow @socialbutterflycoffee for events and new features. Open 7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday, 8am - 2pm, Saturday and Sunday.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Trinity Services.
