OAK BROOK, IL – On Friday, December 2, 2022, Trinity Services hosted its Ninth Annual Dinner and Concert Gala at beautiful Butterfield Country Club in Oak Brook.  Beginning at six o’clock, guests enjoyed cocktails while listening to the lilting sounds of lovely holiday harp music played by award-winning harpist Lisa Boggess.

At seven, Sherry Ladislas, Director of Development, welcomed everyone to the Gala and recognized the members of the Trinity Services and Trinity Foundation Boards of Directors and the Concert Gala Committee.  She also wished Board Chairperson Ray McShane a very happy 80th birthday.

Sherry then introduced Thane A. Dykstra, Ph.D., President and CEO of Trinity Services, who thanked everyone for coming and for their very generous donations to an organization that today serves and supports over 5,800 children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health needs in over 30 communities across the State of Illinois.

During the delicious dinner, guests were entertained by The Allegro!!! Ensemble, an elite string performance ensemble of the Western Springs School of Talent Education and the Naperville Suzuki School.  The talented student group played a delightful collection of traditional holiday songs before treated to a standing ovation.

After dinner, guests enjoyed listening to coloratura soprano Kylie Toerpe sing traditional holiday favorites accompanied by pianist Shane McFadden.  The duo then led the festive crowd in singing Christmas carols including Silver Bells, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and White Christmas

Trinity Services would like to thank our generous sponsors and contributors, as well as staff members who helped to make the Ninth Annual Dinner and Concert Gala a huge success.
