Trinity Celebrates World Mental Health Day!
World Mental Health Day (October 10) is an international day dedicated to promoting global mental health education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma.
It was first celebrated on October 10, 1992, at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more than 150 countries.
This day, each October, thousands of supporters come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to mental illness and its major effects on people's lives worldwide.
The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health. This day provides an opportunity for mental health professionals and all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, making mental health a priority worldwide.
Trinity, along with many other organizations, works tirelessly to help people with mental health needs flourish.
