Trinity and Studio 22 Support Pink Heals/Joliet!

PH 2

On Thurday, October 30, 2025, representatives from the Joliet Area Chapter of Pink Heals, a national organization supporting women in their fight against breast cancer and other diseases and illnesses, stopped by Studio 22 to meet the people we serve, and to pick up the special cards they made in support of women in the area.

Angie Caldwell, President of the Joliet Area Chapter, and Debbie Turner, Director of Events, arrived at Studio 22 in a Pink Heals pink car.  They spent time with the people served who participate in the Studio 22 community services program, and invited them outside to see the unique car.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lorraine Phillips, who works with people served at Studio 22, took the initiative to contact the Joliet Area Chapter of Pink Heals, to partner together to create the cards.  "I asked everyone if they would like to make cards," said Lorraine.  "Pink Heals was very excited to partner with Trinity because they were planning home visits and could take the cards with them."

In addition to the partnership with Studio 22, the Joliet Area Chapter is planning a special fundraiser to benefit both Pink Heals and Trinity Services on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Roxy in Lockport.  The event will feature three local area bands including the Junior Varsity Blues (Joliet West High School teachers), River Road Trio (Morris), and Don't Matter to Me (Plainfield).  Admission is $20, with $10 going to Pink Heels and $10 going to Trinity Services.

Thank you to Pink Heals/Joliet for making this a wonderful partnership!  Shown from left to right: Debbie Turner, Pink Heals Director of Events, Angie Caldwell, Pink Heals President, and Lorraine Phillips, Trinity Services/Studio 22.
