Trinity Services Celebrates Juneteenth with Food and Fun!
NEW LENOX, IL - On Thursday, June 18, 2026, Trinity Services hosted its annual celebration of Juneteenth, a federal holiday in the United States that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Specifically, it marks June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce the end of slavery - more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Trinity staff, people supported, and other guests, came to the Trinity Training Center on Gougar Road, to enjoy delicious food and participate in games and other activies related to the Juneteenth holiday. Geno Bagnolo hosted the Juneteenth Trivia Game.
