Trinity Services Hosts Open House at Studio 22
NEW LENOX, IL – On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, Studio 22, a community day program operated by Trinity Services, hosted an open house for family, friends, and the general public. Guests were treated to tours of the facilities, as well as delicious root beer floats made from ice cream and root beer produced at Studio 22 by people supported by Trinity. A local area saxophonist, Ellis Wright, played relaxing music.
In 2022, Trinity Services converted the former warehouse on Ferro Road, once used for manufacturing a line of Trinity cleaning supplies, into a recording studio and space for other program activities that features a music room and an aquaponics system. Aquaponics is a cooperation between plants and fish forming a recirculating ecosystem utilizing natural bacteria cycles to convert fish waste into plant nutrition.
Like all of Trinity Services’ programs, Studio 22 is built upon the principles of positive psychology. The people Trinity supports play musical instruments, enjoy arts and crafts, tend hydroponic plants, learn how to make craft soda pop, and engage in a host of indoor and outdoor activities that support these tenets.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to show everyone how important community day programs like Studio 22 are for helping people with disabilities and mental health needs flourish, so they can lead full and abundant lives,” said Kevin Krauss, who manages Studio 22. “We have a remarkable staff who provide high-level services and support for the men and women who participate in our activities.”
Founded in 1950, Trinity Services provides the highest quality person-directed services and support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as to those with mental health needs.
