Reopening Update

Dear Trinity Families,

It has been quite a year for all of us. Thank you for the understanding and support as we navigate how to provide the education our students deserve during a global pandemic.

I would like to provide you an update with our school reopening plan. We are always reviewing our reopening plan based on the data from the CDC, IDPH and ISBE. Based on the information from the past weeks, there has been a steady decline of Covid positivity rate in the region, way below the 8% threshold. There are also more and more people being vaccinated. We are very thankful that most of the Trinity staff are fully vaccinated.

Due to this, we are opening Mondays for in-person learning for our Elementary and Jr. high students. We are still going to maintain our 50% capacity in the building in order to comply with the Covid protocols. This is a step in the right direction to fully reopening the school for in-person learning.

We are hopeful that we will be able to return to full in-person instruction as the cases continue to go down and the state will move to Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois Plan. The school districts have been notified and will arrange the transportation for this day.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
