Please join us at the grand opening reception for Prairie Trail at the Landings to be held at 418 Landings Drive in New Lenox on Thursday, May 12 from 3 – 6 pm.
Prairie Trail at the Landings is a new housing community for adults with disabilities made possible by the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) and Will County.
Prairie Trail at the Landings includes twenty-two one-bedroom and three three-bedroom units, each equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom, living space and storage. The building’s first floor is staffed by Trinity Services personnel, who provide residents with support in areas such as budgeting, job counseling, social skills and cooking.
According to State officials, a waiting list for this type of housing has generated interest from more than 10,000 adults with disabilities throughout Illinois.
Speakers scheduled for the grand opening celebration include Trinity Services President and CEO Thane A. Dykstra, Ph.D., New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann, as well as representatives from the IHDA.
